WWF Tracking Antarctica dives into the science of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean and identifies ways the wonders of the region can be preserved for generations to come.

The app contains a new WWF report identifying and explaining critical threats to Antarctic biodiversity including krill, seals, seabirds and whales and sustainable solutions to respond to global change.

In Antarctic stories, learn more about the science in action and meet the people working in the one of the most challenging, remote and biologically important regions of the planet.

WWF is one of the world’s largest and most experienced independent conservation organizations, with over 5 million supporters and a global Network active in more than 100 countries.

Our mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.

Our WWF Antarctic conservation program collaborates with researchers, governments, industry and partners and is a voice for credible science. A key focus of our work is to monitor and report on the state of species, ecosystems and human impacts to communicate innovative solutions and achieve impact.
